I’m excited to share that I’ve been recognised as a finalist in the LawyersWeekly Women in Law Awards for Thought Leader of the Year!
The Women in Law Awards is Australia’s largest independent awards program for the leading women in the legal industry, celebrating the outstanding women shaping and influencing the legal industry.
I feel proud to be recognised for my passion for improving the industry. Much of my work has gone on behind-the-scenes in my role at Birman & Ride, but I’m now sharing my skills more broadly through my podcast Doing Law Differently and my coaching and consulting services.
For many years I’ve been the leader of innovation and change at Birman & Ride. I’ve tried, tested, failed and succeeded with plenty of NewLaw initiatives and I’m proud to be leading the way in Perth’s most progressive NewLaw firm. I see so many of my colleagues feeling stuck and unsure how to change what they’re doing to keep up with the changing market. I feel compelled to share my experience to help them on their journey.
I’ve designed a coaching program that teaches law firms how to package their services and systemise service delivery. It’s all about keeping life simple, so we can work smarter, not harder!
Doing Law Differently has featured in the top 10 in the Australian Management charts several times since I launched it in July, which tells me that this conversation about HOW to implement change is such an important one.
The winners will be announced on 22 November. Keep your fingers crossed for me!
